Perio·Aid® is the most indicated oral antiseptic for the treatment and maintenance of periodontal and peri-implant diseases. Its exclusive formula combines two antiseptics, Chlorhexidine and Cetylpyridinium Chloride, which work synergistically to ensure maximum efficacy and control over the oral biofilm, also known as bacterial plaque.
Perio·Aid® offers two lines, specifically formulated to treat each stage of periodontal and peri-implant disease:
- Perio·Aid® Treatment, CHX 0.12% + CPC 0.05%
It is an adjunct treatment that allows us to control the pathogenic bacteria that cause periodontitis and peri-implantitis following an intervention in the dental office. Perio·Aid® Treatment comes in several different forms: mouthwash, gel and spray, which can be used in combination.
- Perio·Aid® Maintenance, CHX 0.05% + CPC 0.05%
After the periodontal or peri-implant treatment phase, it is necessary to perform maintenance to avoid possible recurrence. Perio·Aid® Maintenance is a continued use Chlorhexidine (up to 6 months) with high efficacy and minimal side effects.
Of all oral antiseptics on the market, Perio·Aid® has the greatest number of clinical studies that back its efficacy.
