SUCCESSFUL COURSE “Periodontal disease: a XXI Century Approach”

Gum disease (gingivitis and periodontitis) are two of the most common diseases in human beings. This means that of people over 35 years of age, more than half have gingivitis and 1 in every 3 has periodontitis.
For this reason, the Waterpik® brand has invited hygienists and dentists to take an online course: “Periodontal disease: a XXI Century Approach”, as part of their aim to help support their daily clinical practice
More than 1,500 professionals from all over Spain participated in this course, and 600 Waterpik® WP-100 irrigators were distributed among them to help these practitioners explain to their patients the benefits of oral irrigation in the treatment and prevention of gum disease.
