New Courses

After the great success of the 1st SEPA-Dentaid Symposium, Dentaid continues to support dental hygienists with new training courses.
In a survey on Facebook, dental hygienists were asked their opinion about interesting topics for new courses. This time, the subject selected was: Keys to successful dental implant maintenance.
From March to May 2012 a total of 23 courses are being held in different cities throughout Spain, for which the estimated total participation is 3,700 attendees. The speakers that are collaborating on this are dentists who are experts in dental implant placement.
The goal of these courses is to provide dental hygienists with the fundamentals of dental implants: what is an implant?, what is osseointegration?, types of prostheses, complications that may arise from implant placement: peri-implant diseases and their treatment; giving special importance to the role and responsibilities of dental hygienists in dental implant maintenance.
