Excellent results for the ImplaMateTM titanium curettes and scalers in the CR Foundation® study published in the Dental Hygiene Clinicians Report1

The CR Foundation is a non-profit group whose mission is to help professionals world-wide by evaluating oral health products. Every year, this group independently assesses more than 650 products of all kinds, including material, equipment and techniques, etc.

These studies are performed thanks to the joint efforts of 400 volunteer clinicians in 16 different countries and of 40 foundation scientists, engineers and support staff. Once products have been evaluated, the results are disclosed in the CR Report and through courses, videos, journals, etc.

ImplaMateTM titanium curettes and scalers have undergone this evaluation process, yielding excellent results. The conclusions of CR indicate that 96% of the 23 examiners declared that they would incorporate ImplaMateTM products in their practice. 100% of them scored them as excellent or good and worthy of being tested by their colleagues.

Characteristics

ImplaMateTM curettes and scalers have an active portion made of solid titanium, which because of its durability and unique edge, do not harm implant surfaces, preventing them from becoming scratched. They are extremely lightweight and ergonomic, thanks to the handle design. Also, their purple tips allow for quick identification, differentiating them from their stainless steel counterparts. Lastly, the different coloured, interchangeable rings facilitate identification of each single instrument.

Relevant advantages:

Lightweight, ergonomic, non-slip surface and option for colour coding.Easily removes plaque, calulus and tartar.Better access than plastic instruments.Excellent, long-lasting blade, with a special finish for delicate treatment of implants.
