Vitis® Sonic improves gum health and reduces bacterial plaque(1) with visible results in just 10 days

News

10 Mar 2020

A study conducted with regular users of manual toothbrushes and who used the VITIS® sonic S10 electric toothbrush for three weeks, corroborated the benefits of dual-action sonic technology.

VITIS® sonic electric toothbrushes offer effective oral hygiene, while gentle on teeth and gums, thanks to their sonic technology with mechanical and hydrodynamic dual-action for effective brushing and improved cleaning of hard-to-reach areas.

Several clinical studies have certified sonic technology’s ability to remove dental biofilm, as it favours complete oral hygiene, and is ideal for all types of patients, especially those with varying difficulties in carrying out conventional brushing.

PROVEN EFFICACY

A study conducted with a group of people who regularly use manual toothbrushes and who used the VITIS® sonic S10 electric toothbrush for three weeks, confirmed the benefits of dual-action sonic technology.

In just 10 days, bacterial plaque was reduced, and gum condition improved. After 21 days, on conclusion of the study, the amount of bacterial plaque present in the mouth had fallen by 39% compared to levels observed when the VITIS® sonic electric brush was starting to be used, while inflammation dropped by 69%.

These decreases were both statistically and clinically significant and showed that the use of the VITIS® sonic electric toothbrush as part of daily oral hygiene improves clinical parameters associated with oral health.

This is confirmed by users, since nine out of 10 of those who have tried the VITIS® sonic electric brush would recommend it.

RECOMMENDED FOR ALL PATIENTS

VITIS® sonic is indicated for all types of users, and is especially useful for those with limitations when performing oral hygiene or for those for whom comprehensive removal of oral biofilm is essential to avoid possible complications:
