DENTIAD continues to offer its Training and Support Plan to Pharmacies in order to improve oral health among the general public. 

The role of pharmacists is essential in promoting health. In terms of oral health, this promotion should focus on proper oral hygiene habits, on providing useful advice regarding the most appropriate, patient- and symptom-specific treatments, and on referring patients to a specialist when needed. 

This is why DENTAID plans multiple training sessions that are specifically designed for Pharmacies every year. 

This project was launched years ago when training courses were delivered directly on-site in pharmacies and adapted to the pharmacy team’s schedule, covering various topics related to the oral cavity. 

Throughout year 2013 several courses were carried out on different topics including the following: 

• Tooth sensitivity and the new technology that DENTAID has included in its formulations, DENTAID nanorepair^® technology for the treatment and elimination of tooth sensitivity pain. 

• Periodontal and peri-implant diseases: what they are and solutions sold in pharmacies. 

• The toothbrush as a key element in oral health. We will soon launch a new series of courses on Common myths related to Xerostomia and Halitosis and how to address these oral conditions in the pharmacy. 

During 2013, a total of 14,000 professionals benefitted from this plan. 

We encourage you to participate in this educational initiative whose aim is to reinforce pharmaceutical advice while increasing the turnover of the products in your pharmacy and helping to increase customer loyalty by offering sound oral health-related advice.
